Overview
Beflore is a plant care app that helps you keep your plants healthy. We respect your privacy and collect as little data as possible.
What data do we collect?
Short answer: No personal data.
All information you enter in Beflore (plant names, photos, care notes) is stored locally on your device. This data is not sent to our servers.
Payments
If you purchase a Beflore Bloom subscription, payments are processed through Google Play. We do not have access to your payment details (credit card, etc.). Google processes this data according to their own privacy policy.
Sharing data with third parties
We do not share any data with third parties. Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to share.
Analytics
Beflore uses PostHog for anonymous usage analytics. This helps us understand which features are used and improve the app. We collect:
- Anonymous usage events (e.g., "plant created", "reminder set")
- A randomly generated anonymous ID (not linked to your Google account or any personal information)
We do not collect:
- Personal information (name, email, etc.)
- Plant names, photos, or care notes
- Location data
- Session recordings
Analytics data is hosted in the EU (GDPR-compliant) and you can opt out at any time in Settings.
Feedback and Bug Reports
If you choose to submit feedback or report a bug through the in-app Feedback feature, the following data is sent to our servers:
- The feedback text you write
- The type of feedback (feature request or bug report)
- An anonymous device identifier for voting purposes
This data is only used to improve Beflore and is never shared with third parties. Submitting feedback is completely voluntary.
Advertisements
Beflore contains no advertisements.
Your rights
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control. You can:
- View your data in the app
- Delete your data by uninstalling the app
- Export your data using the export function in the app

If we change this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
